You will join the Transport Strategy and Development Control Team as a Senior Transport Planner.
In this exciting and varied role you will contribute towards identifying the needs, developing delivery programmes and monitoring delivery and financial control for transport strategy and road safety schemes across the County Borough. You will also lead on delivering the Council’s Active Travel Network Map delivery programme.
You will work with key stakeholders to undertake feasibility studies for transport projects and schemes, Identify and analyse highway problems relating to transportation and the environment and work proactively to suggest innovative solutions to improve the network.
In this role you will be required to manage, monitor and give guidance to others within the team on financial and technical matters including some of a non-routine nature.
