Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking a forward-thinking strategic leader to join the Corporate Management Team.
The successful candidate will join the 4th largest authority in Wales as the Corporate Director of People leading the Directorate of Social Services and Housing.
The large portfolio area, with a budget circa £225.2 million, will require an innovative leader to support the council’s ongoing Transformation programme, whilst ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of Council policies and service delivery in accordance with Welsh Government legislation.
It is important to have a good understanding of Local Government with a particular focus on the areas of Social Services and Housing.
We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of leadership and the ability to work with a range of agencies to achieve corporate objectives.
To be considered for this role it is essential to hold a post graduate qualification in addition to a management and leadership qualification.
