We are recruiting a Residential Child Care Worker at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 hours per week / 24 hours per week. We work 12 hr shifts and this is made up of a combination of weekdays and weekends.

This is an exciting opportunity and with this in mind, we are looking to recruit Residential Child Care Workers, with the option of both full time and part time contracts. We are seeking enthusiastic, nurturing hands-on people who have experience working with complex and challenging behaviours. Successful candidates will work in a multi-agency manner to support and promote the welfare and needs of young people with a high level of complex needs.
Previous experience of working in a children’s residential home is advantageous. We offer an excellent induction and training package, including supporting employees to attain sector specific qualifications that will support your professional development. We also provide training and support to enable you to work in a therapeutic, relational manner. On-going supervision is offered where training, development and personals need are addressed.
